Accounts Department

To prepare financial statements by computerizing daily transaction records in Tally software and to perform all bank related transactions. To submit three budgets to the Board in a financial year. To pay all taxes and various dues due to the government. To perform all the work related to the accounting department.

Statistical Department

To calculate daily market prices and upload them on the website of Maharashtra State Agriculture Marketing Board, to submit annual market prices.

Establishment Department

To issue all orders related to the establishment of all employees and daily wage workers of the Market Committee, to register their leave accounts, to plan their work, to issue relevant instructions, etc.

Demand Department

Registration of purchase and sale of grain at the market yard by licensees and buyers is done in the demand department, and market fee and supervision fee are levied under this department.

Adat/Purchase Inspection Department

Daily Adat/ purchase bills are inspected monthly.

Agricultural Product Mortgage Department

Farmers are given mortgage loans on the collateral of their agricultural products. During the season, the arrival of agricultural products in the market increases, and since the arrival is often high, the possibility of a decrease in prices cannot be ruled out. During this period, farmers are required to pay agricultural product loans at a reasonable price and to meet their financial needs, the Agricultural Product Mortgage Scheme is being implemented under the direction of the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Department from the Market Committee's own funds. In this department, farmers are given mortgage loans on the basis of the necessary documents.

Cashier

Market fees, supervision fees, farm collateral, grain rent and other miscellaneous payments are accepted in the market committee. Receipts of the amounts paid through cash, cheques, net banking in the cash department are made and the said payments are deposited in the bank account of the market committee on a daily basis. All these transactions are recorded in the cash book.

Grain Department

In the grain department, the sale of agricultural produce brought by farmers is done through open auction. This auction is held in front of the licensed buyers, adate and farmers. The agricultural produce is accurately measured by licensed measurers. The sale slips of this auction are given through the employees appointed by the market committee. The farmers get the amount of their agricultural produce from the buyers.

Potato-Onion Department

The licensed department is engaged in the trade of potatoes, garlic, onions, ginger and chillies. Market fee and supervision fee are levied and collected from them. Potatoes, garlic etc. are not produced in the area of ​​the market committee. Potatoes (potatoes) come to the market committee from Agra in Uttar Pradesh, Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh, Indore. Garlic comes from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, chillies come from Hyderabad in Telangana, Warangal and Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. Onions are brought to the market committee by farmers from the area of ​​the market committee and other districts.
